Moving from Anger to Action

For the next several months, JwJ and allies propose to be escalating pressure around a wide range of targets, as part of sending a wake-up call to Congress that unemployment is an emergency requiring bold action.  Different weeks will focus on a different aspect of the economic crisis.

• March 15-19: AFL-CIO National Week of Action for Jobs

• March 27 – April 4: National Student Labor Week of Action

• April: Challenge Wall Street Recklessness and Corporate Greed

• May 1: May Day events

• June 22-26: March for Jobs at the US Social Forum in Detroit
